Maybe the children could go on a field trip to Bajor or one of its habitable moons.

Check the outbox... PHPBB has an "outbox" and a "sent items" folder. Not sure what the difference is, but I think one of them is stuff that the recipient hasn't seen yet.

Perhaps the kiddies want to go on a field trip to one of the moons of Bajor... maybe with the goal of dragging Eilis along to find a magical artifact...

All right, we've been discussing this mission amongst the command staff and we have a bit of a new plan here.

In concurrence with the grilling by the Admirals, we will also be posting about the decommissioning of the Portland, approximately twenty years in the future. There is going to be some switching back and forth between the future and the present, sort of like in Endgame or All Good Things.

Why are we doing this? Well, it will all become obvious very soon...

Tyrlai' daughter Alenia is a recent Starfleet Academy graduate.

Jason Beauvoir is Commandant of Starfleet Academy.
